The International Baccalaureate® Diploma Program (IBDP) is a widely-recognized international high school curriculum that aims to develop well-rounded and inquisitive members of society. It is a two year program that prepares students for entry into tertiary education.
IB students are required to take a total of 6 subjects — 3 at Standard Level (SL) and 3 at Higher Level (HL). Subjects groups include Maths, Sciences, Arts, Language and Literature, and Individuals and Societies.
Students are also made to complete requirements for the Extended Essay (EE), Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and Creativity, Action and Service (CAS). These facilitate deeper analysis of concepts learned and their applications to the world at large.
The IB curriculum is highly competitive and receives recognition from leading global institutions, including prestigious universities in the US, UK, Canada, Hong Kong and Australia.
